Weight Loss Program

If you’re struggling with weight or weight-related issues and feel like you haven’t found success with lifestyle modifications, compounded semaglutide may provide the additional support you need. Our compounded semaglutide weight loss program is a medically-supervised program designed to deliver safe, non-surgical weight loss solutions to help with weight management.

During your initial consultation, our Physician’s Assistant will evaluate your medical history and discuss your overall health goals to determine if our weight loss program is suitable for you. This medical evaluation fee is $100.

Our weight loss program cost is $425 per month, which includes your monthly prescription of compounded semaglutide, your monthly follow-up appointments in our office, as well as your monthly appointment with our Physician’s Assistant.

Telehealth appointments are available upon request.

“Stepping on the scale can be discouraging and misleading, so hide your scale, choose to eat properly, get some form of exercise daily, and most important of all … stay encouraged!

Compounded semaglutide is a game changer! We know this medication can help you lose weight, but more importantly, it will help you reevaluate your overall relationship with food.

How Much Weight
Will I Lose?

Most patients typically see a weight loss of 1 pound per week, however, that can vary depending on the weight of the patient. Patients who have more weight to lose can see greater results each week.

How Long Before
I See Results?

Patients typically feel their appetite subside during the first week of starting the program and report seeing subtle results by the end of the first month. Because the initial dosing of compounded semaglutide is low during the first month, it is important to remember that early on, weight loss results may be minimal, but increased amounts of excess weight loss are reported in subsequent months.

Do I Need A Prescription?

Our compounded medication is available by prescription only. Our pharmacy compounds our medication in a more concentrated form, and upon your initial consultation and evaluation, our doctor will determine a dosing and treatment plan best suited for you. Your prescription is shipped directly to our clinic from our pharmacy each month and will be given to you at your monthly follow-up appointments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Semaglutide belongs to a class of medications known as glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists. It mimics the GLP-1 hormone that plays a role in appetite and digestion.

Our FDA compliant pharmacy compounds base form semaglutide with Vitamin B, and the compounded medication is injected subcutaneously (under the skin) with an insulin needle on the same day of each week, in the morning, with or without food. Insulin needles are extremely small, and the injection is painless.

There are no food restrictions on our program. However, if you are not eating a healthy diet, you will not feel good while on this program. The healthier you eat, the better you will feel.

The compounded medication reduces your appetite and makes you feel fuller for longer periods of time. Our compounded semaglutide helps target fat cells and regulate blood sugar. You will need to eat plenty of protein and drink 6 to 8 glasses of water each day. We strongly suggest eating your protein first at every meal.

While exercise is not mandatory, we recommend you incorporate exercise into your lifestyle because of the health benefits. If you aren’t used to exercising, walking is a perfect way to start! Movement is key to good health, and you may find exercising becomes more enjoyable as you start to lose weight.

Patients with mindful eating habits who partake in some form of exercise tend to lose more weight than those who do not change their current habits.

Our compounding pharmacy is FDA compliant and only sources the semaglutide base from an FDA approved wholesaler. Our pharmacy compounds the semaglutide base with Vitamin B. Our pharmacy does not use salt forms of semaglutide, including semaglutide sodium or semaglutide acetate.

Our weight loss program is a medically-supervised approach designed to obtain safe and effective results, producing far fewer side effects than most other weight loss medications.

While some side effects may include gastrointestinal upset, including nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, or constipation, most patients do not experience any. Our patients start on a low dosage initially which helps with any potential side effects. If needed, our Doctor will prescribe you an anti-nausea medication.

As tolerated, dosages are increased every month until we reach the ideal dosage for our patient’s weight loss goals.

73% of adults over age 20 are considered overweight, resulting in weight-related medical issues. While some of these issues are attributed to low physical activity and unhealthy eating habits, additional factors including genetics, age, poor sleeping habits, stress, medications, and societal influences can significantly contribute to one’s inability to achieve and maintain healthy goals.

When used in conjunction with improved diet and exercise, our compounded semaglutide medication can facilitate weight loss results regardless of these factors.

Some patients may stay on the medication for 3-6 months and others may stay on the medication longer. Our individualized treatment plans are specific to each patient’s medical history and weight loss goals, and therefore, the amount of time a patient stays on the program will vary.

We start patients on a lower dosage of medication while continuing to increase the dosing each month. We have our patients come into the clinic each month for a follow-up appointment to evaluate their progress, discuss any questions or concerns, and determine the increased dosing for the next treatment. For those unable to come into the clinic, our medical team will be available for telehealth appointments.

When a patient meets their weight loss goal, we reevaluate the patient’s overall health and newfound lifestyle choices to customize a maintenance plan best suited to maintain the patient’s goal weight.

Our weight loss program is scheduled to auto-refill each month with our pharmacy. If, at any time, you would like to cancel your auto-refill prescription and terminate the program, simply contact us at least two weeks before your next scheduled prescription auto-refill.
